Orange County’s largest outdoor water park, Knott’s Soak City in Buena Park, underwent some renovations over the winter/spring and is getting ready to debut two new exciting water slide towers just in time for the grand re-opening this summer!

Shore Break will tower over seven stories and offer six different thrilling water slide experiences. Four of the slides on the 60-foot tower will have you waiting in anticipation in an Aqua-Launch chamber where the floor drops from under your feet sending you in a vertical free fall in high speeds through flat loops and S-curves in a translucent flume. (Yikes!) It also features dueling tube slides. You must be at least 48 inches to ride.

The Wedge slide tower takes over the former Pacific Spin location and will be an open air raft ride for groups up to six. It descends downward taking you through twists and turns with surprise drops. You must be at least 48 inches or 40 inches when accompanied by a supervising companion.

The new expansion will also include updated shaded seating areas, cabanas and a remodeled Longboard’s Grill. You’ll be able to experience both water slide towers when Knott’s Soak City Waterpark opens for the summer on May 20, 2017. Join the conversation about the new ride using the #KnottsSoakCity.
